PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a book carry-out device having the capability of storing books in stack with their covers being open to a book storage part and carrying out the book at the lowermost position in sequence by using carry-out means. SOLUTION: The book carry-out device for storing the books 1 in stack with their covers being open 2 in the book storage part 3 and carrying out the book at the lowermost position in sequence by using a carry-out mechanism 5 comprises a guide member 8 having a cut portion 8a formed in a guide face for holding the opening covers at a preset angle to a bottom face 4 and guiding them in slide contact and a weight member 12 to be placed on the book at the uppermost position.
