PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile object monitoring device, capable of monitoring mobile objects with high accuracy, even if the mobile object moves fast. SOLUTION: A receiving processor 120 fetches mobile object information, including the moving speeds and movement locations of a plurality of mobile objects 10 moving in a prescribed wide area 110 to be monitored. The receiving processor 120 transmits the mobile object information to a monitor display device 130 via a network 140. The receiving processor 120 changes the transmission period of the mobile object information according to the moving speeds of the mobile objects 10.
