PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably determine acceptance/rejection of the spot welding when determining acceptance/rejection of the spot welding based on the vibration generated during the welding. SOLUTION: A spot welding monitoring device comprises a vibration amplitude detection circuit 213 for detecting the amplitude value of the intermittent mechanical damping vibration in an electrode part of a spot welding machine 10 for generating the electromagnetic force as an oscillation source when the AC welding current is applied, a vibration phase difference detection circuit 214 for detecting the phase difference between the AC welding current and the intermittent mechanical damping vibration, a acceptance/rejection determining reference coordinate setting circuit 215 for setting the reference acceptance/ rejection determination area on a two-dimensional map determined by the amplitude axis and the phase difference axis orthogonal thereto, and a welding acceptance/rejection determination circuit 216 for determining acceptance/ rejection of the spot welding based on the two-dimensional map determined by the detected amplitude value and the phase difference.
