PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent disabling of photography caused by an output error from a sensor in the midst of focus and zoom control. SOLUTION: This lens controller has a pulse signal output means for outputting a pulse signal according to the movement of a lens group, and a lens control means for controlling lens position, based on output from the pulse signal output means. The controller has a position sensor, whose output value is consecutively changed continuously according to the position of the lens group, and the lens control means controls the position of the lens, based on the output from the position sensor when the pulse signal is not inputted from the pulse signal output means for a specified time, even though the lens group is being driven. |
