1ST AGENT COMPOSITION, PREPARATION FOR PERMANENT WAVE AND METHOD FOR USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a 1st agent composition for a two-part preparation for permanent wave which at least maintains necessary permanent wave effect and inhibits hair damage and skin irritation to a minimum and is favorably applicable to the hair put to dyeing or decoloring treatment in particular. SOLUTION: The 1st agent composition comprises an alkali agent and a reducing agent, having a pH of 7.5-8.5 and having an alkalinity of 0.5-2.0 mL/g specified by the consumption of 0.1N acid standard solution. The two-part preparation for permanent wave including this 1st agent is applicable to the hair put to dyeing or decoloring treatment.
