PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly start an engine by the pedal stepping force without degrading the operability of a pedal in a transmission of a powered bicycle. SOLUTION: One-way clutches for sun gears 58, 59 and 60 and a shift drum member 67 for selectively uncoupling the one-way clutch coupling are provided between a boss member 63 and cylindrical surfaces of base parts of the sun gears 58, 59 and 60, and the sun gears 58, 59 and 60 are selectively fixed or unfixed by selectively uncoupling the one-way clutch coupling by turning the shift drum member 67. A neutral member 80 is provided so as to slide in the axle direction according to the turn of the shift drum member 67 to keep each sun gear in a free condition. In addition, the shift drum member 67 is further turned to allow the neutral member 80 to slide so that the transmission of the driving force from a planet carrier 52 to a hub 20 is shut off. |
