<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal effect in any case of an internal pressure (positive pressure) and a negative pressure of a water feed/discharge pipe even in the case where a gap space of a mounting part of a packing ring is large. SOLUTION: The packing ring 10 is contacted with an outer periphery surface of a spigot a pipe, to be connected, made of synthetic resin inserted into a socket. The packing ring comprises a first inclined packing ring piece 12 capable of being press-contacted with a projection part 19 by being elastically deformed by a pressing of the outer periphery surface of the spigot when the spigot is inserted to a direction directed from one end to the other end; and a second inclined packing ring piece 11 close to the first inclined packing ring piece, obliquely and inwardly extending from the other end side of an inner periphery surface of a ring body and capable of being press-contacted with the first inclined packing ring by being elastically deformed by a pressing of the outer periphery surface of the spigot.</p> |
