<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a braking device for a lift truck capable of reducing a work load of an operator. SOLUTION: In the braking device for the lift truck provided with a brake pedal 23 for operating a deadman system brake in a cab ridden by the operator, an assisting means 40 is provided for energizing the brake pedal 23 in a stepped direction when the brake pedal 23 is stepped into a brake releasing position. The assisting means 4 can be operated only when an accelerator operating tool 14 of the lift truck is operated.</p> |
