PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that when excess varnish adherent to a fiber base material is removed by a squeeze roll, since the surface temperature of the squeeze roll is decreased by the latent heat of evaporation of a solvent in a resin, a resin component is deposited to deteriorate the appearance of a prepreg and to cause the dispersion of the deposition. SOLUTION: When the prepreg is produced by making the fiber base material be impregnated with the resin varnish, by passing hot water of a heating medium through the squeeze roll for removing the excess varnish adherent to the base material, the excess varnish is removed with the temperature of the squeeze roll kept constant. |
