PURPOSE: A getter composition and field emission display using the same is provided to perform activation process even at a low temperature of approximately 300 Deg.C, while improving vacuum level and degree of gas removal. CONSTITUTION: A getter composition is characterized in that Cr is used as a main component so as to lower activation temperature, and Ti and Zr are added to the composition. A field emission display comprises a getter containing Cr as a main component; an anode coated with a phosphor material; a cathode opposed to the anode; a field emission unit for emitting electrons in accordance with the voltage output from the cathode; and a gate electrode for extracting electrons from the field emission unit.
