PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surveying machine that has the function of reporting maintenance timing to a user and displays maintenance information automatically even if there is no space simply by separately providing a display section for displaying maintenance information. SOLUTION: The surveying machine having a display section 11 for displaying at least an angle measurement value and a ranging value comprises a time integration section 21 for integrating passage time, a storage section 20 for storing a reference value, and a control operation section 19 that compares the integrated passage time with the reference value and displays maintenance alarm display at the display section when the reference value is reached or is exceeded.
