PURPOSE: A direct EC(Electric Commerce) solution using the intermediate security payment and the instant messaging is provided to secure the one-to-one direct transaction by using a DIM(Direct Instant Messenger) program, to offer a transaction service available on the general transaction site, to disperse the valuable information, and to offer an effective and safe electronic commerce service by using the intermediate security payment function. CONSTITUTION: A DIM is installed in a PC and/or a wireless terminal of a user. The DIM is run, and the basic information about the user is applied to the DIM(100,101). The DIM is set up in a standby mode to make possible the connection of another DIM user by using the basic information. The user of the DIM in the standby mode opens a transaction room on the DIM for the purchase and/or sale of an article and/or a service(111). The other user is connected to the transaction room for the purchase and/or sale of the article and/or the service(113). If a transaction is accomplished, the money for the transaction is put on an intermediate security payment gateway for the payment(118,121). If a trouble or an accident occurs, the payment is deferred.
