PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air-conditioner prevented from its frequency to be stopped by any failure by avoiding the restrained condition of a motor for a blower automatically when the motor is put in the restrained condition by any external factor. SOLUTION: The air-conditioner is equipped with the blower motor 2 with the revolving speed variable by a speed control device 1 and a device to sense the condition of the motor owing to any external factor (for example, ammeter, tachometer, static pressure gauge, thermistor, pressure gauge, voltometer), and when the restrained condition of the motor is sensed, the operation and stop due to the maximum output of the motor or the operation and stop while the output of the motor is increased are made in reversals so that a torque is applied intermittently, and thereby the restrained condition of the motor is avoided automatically.
