PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance consistency with visual observation. SOLUTION: In this black coloring property evaluating method based on a measured color value, at least a value (bright hyper-chromic value) by an intercoordinate distance between coordinates of an evaluated sample and a reference point assigned preliminarily is used in a color display system comprising a three-dimensional space, and at least two values of a value (hue hyper- chromic value) of a difference from the pre-assigned reference point, and a value (bright hyper-chromic value) by an intercoordinate distance from the reference point assigned preliminarily are used in a hue plane including the sample coordinates in the color display system comprising the three-dimensional space where the hue plane is defined.
