PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a marine structure capable of much contributing to breeding and culture of aquatic resources, such as abalone and turban shell, and to creation of seaweed fields, and effective for improving a costal environment. SOLUTION: This marine structure 1 is composed of a cubic lattice-shaped frame base 2, a columnar body 3 projected from an upper surface area of the frame base so as to form a columnar structure, and seaweed seedlings 4 attached to protruded parts of the columnar body 3. Seawater flows into the inside of the frame base 2 and then a mild flow of the seawater generates upward along the columnar body 3 from its bottom, so that a good growing environment for the seaweed seedlings 4 which use the columnar body 3 as a habitat place is formed and therefore the seaweeds gradually grow thick around the marine structure 1. Further, the inside of the frame base 2 is utilized as a habitat space for fishes and shellfishes. The thick grown seaweeds are utilized as feed, and further have a large effect of improving a submarine environment.
