PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make shaft deviation of a coating rod, bearings, and a rotary driving source absorbed, thereby eliminating the necessity of correcting the shaft deviation even in the case replacing the coating rod with another one having a different rod diameter and the necessity of shaft alignment whenever the coating rod is detached or assembled for its maintenance. SOLUTION: The both ends of the coating rod 16 mounted on the support groove 14 of a rod support member 12 are supported through the bearings 32, 32, chuck devices 34, 34, and adjustable joints 36, 36 respectively, and one end of the coating rod 16 is connected to the rotary driving source 38.
