PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method of waste gas treatment and its control mechanism capable of avoiding the excessive supply of a chemical agent by timely performing the supply of the chemical agent and properly adjusting the supply amount of the chemical agent to the utmost. SOLUTION: In the control method of the waste gas treatment and its control mechanism, a laser type gas analyzer 10 is arranged at either one side or both sides of the upstream side or the downstream side of a dust collecting means 2 for treating the waste gas containing an acidic component, and the supply amount of the alkaline chemical agent which becomes porous by heating is subjected to increase and decrease adjustment based on the measurement of the laser type gas analyzer 10.
