PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container with which a DNA, RNA, protein, etc., to be a sample, are sufficiently prevented from being nonspecifically attached to the surface of a sample storage container and even a very small amount of a sample can be analyzed in high accuracy and an apparatus and method using the same. SOLUTION: This sample storage container is characterized in that the container is used for storing a sample and the sample to be stored in the container is a charged substance. The zeta potential of at least a part of the whole surface at a side where the container can be brought into contact with a sample is in a combination of the same polarity as that of the charged substance. The sample is stored in the container for use. This apparatus using the sample storage container is provided. This method using the sample storage container is provided.
