PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial blood vessel superior in kink resistance in a bending part such as a bow part, a curved part, and a meandering part, capable of restraining a stricture, capable of restraining the occurrence of major axis directional wrinkles, preventive against the extension-contraction and bending, and superior in bending elasticity easily adaptable to a blood vessel shape of the human body, and to provide an artificial blood vessel usable as a cover material of a stent, capable of restraining the occurrence of major axis directional dislocation and wrinkles, and accurately indwelling in an adaptive region. SOLUTION: This artificial blood vessel is characterized by being a tube of a woven or knit fabric formed by weaving one or more metallic wires in the major axis direction. |
