PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for measuring bioactivity of clotting factor VIIa (the factor VIIa). SOLUTION: This method for directly measuring activity of the factor VIIa in a blood plasma sample comprises utilizing the factor VIIa as a biomarker monitoring inhibition of the factor VIIa for screening a compound capable of inhibiting bioactivity of the VIIa factor.
