PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sand supplying port device for a sand tank in a frameless horizontally split molding machine wherein the lifetime of a seal member and a slide gate is prolonged, and molding sand remained on the slide gate does not splash outward. SOLUTION: The sand supplying device is provided with a casing 5 equipped hermetically to the upper end of the sand tank, enveloping an upper end opening of the sand tank, and provided with a sand supplying port 4 on approximately the central part, the slide gate 6, 6 disposed movably in the horizontal direction in a casing 5 and opening/closing the sand supplying port 4, an actuator 7 for reciprocally moving the slide gate 6, 6, a removing means 8 for removing the sand adhered to the slide gate 6, 6, a seal member 9 for sealing hermetically between the perifery of the sand supplying port 4 at the time point where the slide gate 6, 6 closes the sand supplying port.
