PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating method which can improve production efficiency without generating color dislocation by printing in a production line and a coated plate using the method. SOLUTION: In the coating method using a masking film, the masking film is subjected to printing (step 3) and dried (step 4), each color is printed (step 5) and dried (step 6), and the masking film is peeled (step 9), so that a pattern is formed by a backing color.
