END TERMINAL USING RUBBER SLEEVE

PURPOSE: An end terminal is provided to allow ease of assembly and shorten assembly time by using a rubber sleeve rather than insulator sheet or gas. CONSTITUTION: An outer shield(40) is formed at the outermost periphery of an end terminal through deposition using a brush or spray, and a rubber insulating layer(20) is formed within the outer shield. An electric field relief high voltage electrode(30) which is made of a conductive rubber material is formed within the rubber insulating layer, and a cable equipped with a corona shield is accommodated into the electric field relief high voltage electrode. An electric field relief shield electrode(10) is arranged to correspond to the electric field relief high voltage electrode. A method for manufacturing end terminal, comprises the steps of molding an electric field relief shield electrode and an electric field relief high voltage electrode; setting both electrodes to a predetermined position of the molding core, and molding a rubber insulating layer; and producing an outer shield through deposition using a brush or spray.
