The procedure and machine (1) for manufacturing plastic laminar profiles involve a first phase of uniform heating (4) to a softening temperature followed by a phase of thermo-shaping, with biaxial orientation and simultaneous progressive cooling and the material entering at softening temperature through a passage (6) which adopts the required shape of the finished profile. In the walls of this passage simultaneous cooling occurs.
