The eraser consists of a lower section (1) which receives an interchangeable erasing pad (8), and an upper section (2) forming a holder. The body is hollow, with a cavity (25) open at one end (24) and closed by a flap (15). The erasing pad has a felt under-surface and plastic foam backing, and has magnets (3, 4) to hold it in place on a white board.
