PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfactorily operate an internal combustion engine in all the engine operation regions. SOLUTION: This fuel injection equipment for the internal combustion engine is provided with a fuel injection valve 1 provided with a first injection port 5 and a second injection port 6. It is constituted such that ordinary fuel injection control in which fuel is injected from the first injection port only in a low load engine operation region and fuel is injected from the first and second injection ports in a high load engine operation region is performed. If internal friction of the internal combustion engine is smaller than a degree determined in advance, ordinary fuel injection control is performed. If internal friction of the internal combustion engine exceeds the degree determined in advance, fuel is injected from the first and second injection ports.
