PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earthquake control device for relaxing seismic force, which is hardly introduced to a general house or the like, as one having even extremely excellent workability at a low cost. SOLUTION: The earthquake control device corresponds to horizontal force in the case of the generation of an earthquake by the high-damping deformation- force of a high-damping elastic body and its restoration function and a sliding function between an upper plate (8) and a tabular sliding body (11), and corresponds to vertical pull-out force by contact surfaces between the upper plate connected and fixed onto a sill and the tabular sliding body connected and fixed onto a foundation. The earthquake control device corresponds to the bearing capacity of building load by a bearing column (10) unified with the tabular sliding body. Such a device is unified compactly and the execution of works is facilitated, and the reduction of a cost is realized and introduction to a building of the device can be promoted.
