PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor-driven compressor having a structure connecting three-phase electric wire of two parallel lines to three-phase winding wire of two parallel lines of a motor, and preventing a short circuit between input terminals. SOLUTION: This motor-driven compressor comprises a compressing portion, a motor having three-phase winding wire of two parallel lines, and a single- phase input terminal independent every phase.
