PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of efficiently cleaning the inside of a tank used for manufacture of beers. SOLUTION: This cleaning method includes a precleaning process S10, a normal cleaning process S20 and a rinsing process S30. In the precleaning process S10, the interior of the tank is cleaned by using water subjected to magnetic treatment. As a result, the greater parts of the organic carbon and scale in the tank are removed. In the normal cleaning process step S20, the remaining organic carbon and scale are removed.
