PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that in a reflection type or a semitransmission type liquid crystal display device, when a metal film being a reflection electrode is film-deposited using an Al-Nd alloy at relatively high temperature of about 200 deg.C, the color tone of the liquid crystal display device yellows according to the material of an alignment layer. SOLUTION: Average pitch of the fine surface ruggedness of the reflection electrode 31 is controlled to be <=1 μm and the reflectance in 200-400 nm wavelength region is specified to be >=90% of the reflectance at 200 nm wavelength by film-depositing the metal film to be the reflection electrode 31 at <=170 deg.C. The reflectance in 300-600 nm wavelength region of the alignment layer 34 formed on the reflection electrode 31 is specified to be >=95%. |
