PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head lamp to which, light sources, having different lengthes can be mounted, using one light source holder, by controlling the length of a chassis. SOLUTION: The head lamp 1 comprises a second reflection surface 7 reflecting the light traveling between an ellipsoidal reflection surface 2 and a projection lens 5 backwards, out of the light emitted from a light source 3, a third reflection surface 8 reflecting the light reflected by the second reflection surface 7 toward the direction of irradiation, and a ring-shaped lens 9 controlling the light reflected by the third reflection surface 8. In this way, the light directly applied by the light source 3, which has been ineffective heretofore, is collected by the second and the third reflection surfaces 7, 8, and is utilized to provide light distribution property, by making the light with controlled shape travel in the direction of irradiation by the ring-shaped lens 9, and the brightness of the head lamp is increased. |
