<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low power consumption processor capable of operating with low power consumption for a program from which any quick response is not expected, and quickly operating with the power consumption scarified for a program whose priority order is high to be processed within a limited time or a program from which a quicker response is expected. SOLUTION: This processor is provided with a processor 11 for performing a program, a plurality of performance time timer counter device 21 whose count enable is possible for measuring the performing time of a program, a performance target register 21 for storing the target value of the performance time of each program, an arithmetic unit 27 for comparing the performance target value with the performance time, an LP mode counter device 28 for storing the arithmetic result, and a controller 31 for controlling clock supply to the processor based on the output signal of the LP mode counter device 28.</p> |
