<p>The use of desloratadine for the preparation of a medicament for the treatment and or prevention of allergic and inflammatory conditions of the skin or airway passages in a human of 12 years and older in need of such treatment and or prevention by administration of an amount of desloratadine, e.g., 5mg day for 10 days, sufficient to produce a geometric mean steady state maximum plasma concentration of desloratadine in the range of 2.90 ng mL to 4.54 ng mL, preferably 3.63 ng mL, or an arithmetic mean steady state maximum plasma concentration of desloratadine in the range of 3.2 ng mL to 5.0 ng mL, preferably 4ng mL .</p> |
