<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To disclose a decoder method for decoding a local time standard inserted into compressed data. SOLUTION: The local time reference is decoded by two parts. The first part has modulo time standard representing a particular interval in a reference timer standard, and the second part has a relative time standard increment part, based on reference time. Two forms of time reference increment parts are used in preparation for different decoding sequence and different display sequence which may occur. Moreover, a mechanism for synchronizing a plurality of compressed streams, provided with the local time standard, is disclosed. Furthermore, a time reference offset mechanism is used to perform synchronization characteristic of a denser grain size of the plurality of compressed streams.</p> |
