PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aligning method and a device for flexible tape capable of aligning a flexible tape with a sheet body easily and highly accurately. SOLUTION: The sheet body 1 having a first mark 11 and a second mark 12 on prescribed positions is arranged, and the first mark 11 and the second mark 12 of the sheet body 1 are acquired on the same image. The image of the first mark 11 and the second mark 12 is read, and the positions of the first mark 11 and the second mark 12 on an X-Y coordinate system are analyzed. This flexible tape 2 having a third mark 13 and a fourth mark 14 to be arranged coincidently on top of the first mark 11 and the second mark 12 is arranged, and the third mark 13 and the fourth mark 14 of the flexible tape 2 are acquired on the same image. The image of the third mark 13 and the fourth mark 14 is read, and the positions of the third mark 13 and the fourth mark 14 on the X-Y coordinate system are analyzed. The relative position of the flexible tape 2 to the sheet body 1 on the X-Y coordinate system is detected, and orthogonal direction slide movement and rotational movement of the flexible tape 2 are performed up to a prescribed position where the relative position becomes zero, to thereby perform alignment with the sheet body 1.
