PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive control system in a vehicle capable of suppressing the reduction of fuel economy and freeing an operator from troublesome operation. SOLUTION: This drive control system in the vehicle has a hydraulic pump 2 driven by an engine 1, a cylinder 4 for steering operated by pressure oil from the hydraulic pump 2 and rotating a steering shaft 3a of a plurality of wheel devices 3 provided in a vehicle body, and a hydraulic control valve 5 controlling pressure oil supplied to the cylinder 4 for steering based on a rotation detection amount signal from a rotation amount detector 7 of a steering wheel 6. When the rotation detection amount signal detected by the rotation amount detector 7 of the steering wheel 6 is inputted into a steering control means 8, a command for increasing the number of revolutions of the engine at the time of idling is outputted to an electronic governor part 9 of the engine 1 from revolution speed increase command part 8a provided in the steering control means.
