PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supporting/fixing structure for a stator capable of protecting a piezoelectric motor from outside shocks and stable operation. SOLUTION: The piezoelectric motor includes the stator 1 which is formed out of a cylindrical piezoelectric element and produces a revolutional torque on a cylindrical end surface, a rotor 2 which rotates and comes into sliding pressure-contact with the cylindrical end surface by the rotational torque, a frame member 6 which accommodates the stator 1 by providing a cylindrical inner-periphery disposed so as to surround the cylindrical outer-periphery of the stator 1, and an elastic member which supports and fixes the stator 1 on the frame member 6. This elastic member includes blade springs 61 to 64 which are located between the cylindrical outer-periphery of the stator 1 and the cylindrical inner-periphery of the frame member 6. Electrodes 11 to 14 are established on the cylindrical outer periphery of the stator 1, and the blade springs 61 to 64 have connecting terminals to pull out respective electrodes to the outside. In some cases, as an elastic member, the blade springs may be replaced by elastic adhesive positioned between the cylindrical outer-periphery of the stator and the cylindrical inner-periphery of the frame member. |
