PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the bias of a belt 5 and to prevent the distortion of a formed image. SOLUTION: This image forming device has a photoreceptor drum 1 and an intermediate transfer means having the belt 5 including a thread type reinforcing member and a driving roller 5a driving the belt 5. In the device, the roller 5a is formed to be a straight cylinder, and the reinforcing member of the belt 5 has welt 50a and warp 50b in a network state, and at least either the welt 50a or the warp 50b is inclined forward in an advancing direction as it goes toward both right and left ends from the center part of the belt 5.
