<p>A small-sized and low-cost transmission apparatus (having a high responsibility) which transmits an interrupt signal with a small number of input/output terminals (with no exclusive lines for interrupt signals) and a transmission method. A first transmission apparatus comprises a central processing unit which carries out interruption according to an interruption signal, an input/output section having at least one data line for transmitting a data signal between a second transmission apparatus and the first transmission apparatus and for transmitting the interrupt signal from the second transmission apparatus to the first transmission apparatus, and an interrupt signal sensing section which senses an interrupt signal from among signals transmitted from the second transmission apparatus through the data line.</p> |
