<p>The composite dielectric resonator according to the invention (a "semi-lumped resonator") comprises a first transmission line (TL1), a capacitive element (C) and possibly a second transmission line (TL4), as well as at least one port for coupling to external circuits. The first transmission line comprises a first dielectric material (103,106), and the capacitive element comprises a second dielectric material (110), the second dielectric material having a magnitude of temperature coefficient of permittivity smaller than the one of the first dielectric material.
