FIELD: mechanical engineering, particularly, designs of presses with screw actuating mechanisms. SUBSTANCE: installed in bed guides is slide connected with non-self-braking mechanism in the form of nut and screw carrying working flywheel on its end. Driving flywheel in the form of ring is installed coaxially to working mechanism and connected to electric motor. Driving and working flywheels are engageable with each other by means of electromagnetic field set up by coils connected with DC source. Driving flywheel may be connected with electric motor by means of belt transmission. Coils may be installed on external side of working flywheel or on internal side of driving flywheel.
