PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for optimizing physical distribution while considering constraints in storage of a relay point when transporting products from a production plant to users. SOLUTION: Combinations of all transportation routes of each product are prepared in consideration of storage capacities relying on physical properties of each product of plants A1 and A2 capable of producing each product, stock points SP1 and SP2 which are relay points, and a deposit point DP1 in regard to each product transportation volume of a certain period to each user B1 -B4 . A transportation route minimizing a total physical distribution cost, namely, a grand total of transfer cost, landing charges, stores expense, and delivery expense of the users B1 -B4 is calculated from the combinations. |
