PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material having a surface excellent in environment resistance to be substituted for timber, and provide a method for forming the material. SOLUTION: A material which is excellent in strength, weather resistance and the like by forming a layer by a composition capable of being sprayed or poured, which contains a resin, a monomer, a filler, an accelerator, a catalyst and the like, on a surface of timber which is inferior in water resistance and the like.
