PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic control device for cargo handling, having small power consumption. SOLUTION: This hydraulic control device 10 for cargo handling performs hydraulic control for a hydraulic cylinder 14 for cargo handling according to the actuating amount of a cargo handling lever 20. The control device 10 is provided with a hydraulic cylinder 30 for a booster connected to a spool of a control valve 16, a spool type solenoid valve 32 for conducting hydraulic control to the hydraulic cylinder, and a controller 22 for controlling current application to a solenoid 60 of the solenoid valve according to the actuating amount of the cargo handling lever. The controller stops current application to the solenoid when the cargo handling leer is put in the neutral position. The solenoid valve has its spool put in the neutral position when current application to the solenoid is stopped, whereby the control valve is put in the neutral position.
