PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small ink jet head and ink jet recorder having a simple structure in which ink consumption required for restoring incomplete ink ejection or sustaining a good ejection state steadily is suppressed. SOLUTION: In the array direction of a plurality of pressure chambers 22 communicating with respective nozzle holes 21 for ejecting ink, an elongated common ink chamber 23 for supplying ink to each pressure chamber is formed, a circulation path 27 is formed in parallel with the common ink chamber 23, one ends of the common ink chamber and the circulation path are interconnected, the other ends of the common ink chamber and the circulation path are connected, respectively, with external ink tanks, ink is pressure fed from the ink tank to the common ink chamber 23 and bubbles in the common ink chamber 23 are collected in the ink tank through the circulation path 27. |
