PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of easily affording an endotoxin removing ability to a membrane for filtration which exists from heretofore. SOLUTION: This endotoxin removing membrane is constituted by coating at least a portion of a porous membrane for liquid filtration with a polymer having a quaternary ammonium salt insoluble in water and at least >=1 kind of anion group.
