PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ash container which can cope with needs such as returning ash to the ground. SOLUTION: This ash container 1 is constituted of a cylindrical container main body 11 with the bottom and a lid 13 to openably close the upper opening part 12 of the container body 11. A knob 14 is projected from the center part of the lid 13. The outer surface of the container body 1 and the lid 13 except the bottom face 21 is decorated by an ink containing minerals to form an ink layer 23.
