摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform control to prevent the rear part of the vehicle from projecting from an inner lane during a curved road run even when the whole length of the vehicle changes in an automatic steering system for allowing the vehicle to travel within the lane. SOLUTION: The relative position of a vehicle and a lane detected by a lane detecting part 1 is obtained, and offset quantity is obtained according to the direction and radius of curvature of a curved road detected by the lane detecting part 1 or a curved road detecting part 2. Further, the offset quantity is corrected according to the trailer length inputted from a trailer length input part 5. An arithmetic part 3 thereby determines a target in-lane position of the relative position and controls a steering actuator 5.
