PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an video signal processor capable of suppressing dot disturbance to a still picture in the edge portion of the still picture, and preventing deterioration in a horizontal resolution of a picture in a moving picture region or a flat region of the still picture. SOLUTION: A three-dimensional color signal obtained from the inter-frame difference of an input composite signal in the edge portion without movement, and a signal formed by limiting the band of the three-dimensional signal obtained from the inter-frame difference by a BPF 10 in the other region, are selectively switched to output them, based on the output from an edge detector 7 for detecting a horizontal edge on the input composite signal and the output from a movement detector 12 for detecting the movement of the input composite signal.
