PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an output control circuit for a liquid crystal display device in which a delay time caused by the delaying operation of a level shift means can be surely reduced. SOLUTION: The circuit is provided with a level shifter 1 to which input signals from an input terminal T1 are applied, an output buffer 2 which is operated in accordance with the output of the level shifter 1 to output output signals to an output terminal T2 and a compensation input circuit 4 which supplies a compensation input to the buffer 2 by passing the level shifter 1 by the application of the input signals from the terminal T1. The delay time caused by the delaying operation of the level shifter 1 is reduced by the compensation input by the circuit 4.
